Background and objectives: The exact course of SARS -2(COVID-19) its complications on multiorgan systemare complex still under studies. Musculoskeletal system has also been affected post covid in various forms.This study was taken up to analyse the effects covid-19 disease hip bone join tissue.Materials Methods: Retrospective analysis ten patients done who had hospitalised with covid-19infection later complained pain. They underwent MR imaging were found have degenerativechanges characterizing avascular necrosis (AVN) head femur .One them history previoussurgery PFN, doin well but developed AVN after covid.Results: Observation this group showed a clear correlation among COVID-19 thepatients, moderately severe symptoms, high levels IgG antibodies, time occurrence joint changes.No other risk factors for or auto-immune degenerative diseases group. groupof responded empirical treatment anti-inflammatory drugs ans supportive therapy, whichsubsided acute inflammatory symptoms pain joints.Conclusions: It is concluded that there obvious musculoskeletal patientsincluding which could be attributed use steroids microembolism leading necrosis.Hence more studies long follow-up suggested.
